Install the mobile app
Install FastCat from Google Play. The iPhone and iPad version will be available after App Store publication.

Connect and open both sides
Use a data-capable USB cable, keep FastCat running on Windows, then open the mobile app and start the wired connection.

Does FastCat make my internet connection faster?
FastCat does not add internet bandwidth or replace your provider. It moves the computer-to-phone portion of the connection onto USB, which can help reduce instability caused by the final wireless hop.
Why does the phone say it is waiting for the computer?
Confirm that the Windows companion is installed and open, the USB cable supports data, and the phone is unlocked. Reconnect the cable and approve any trust or USB permission prompt.
Should I run the app from inside the ZIP file?
No. Extract the complete package first. The desktop executable depends on the files and folders included beside it.
Why can Windows show a security warning?
Version 3.0.4 is not Authenticode signed. Check that the downloaded file matches the SHA-256 value shown above before you run it.
